보라! 내가 새일을 행하리니

God made Moses like God to Pharaoh and simultaneously hardened Pharaoh's heart (Ex7:1-4). God's authority and power came over Moses, who had to stand before Pharaoh, and Pharaoh, as God said, was in the middle of God's decree and providence. However, Pharaoh himself reached the place of judgment where he could not escape the consequences of his sin of disobeying the word of God. In other words, Pharaoh disobeyed God's command to lead the Israelites out of Egypt through Moses and Aaron.

When Pharaoh pondered the demand of Moses and Aaron militarily, economically and politically, he could not liberate the Israelites from slavery. As a result, Pharaoh and his servants witnessed the work of God bringing the Israelites out of Egypt through God's signs [אתתי] and God's wonders [מופתי] that they could not bear and could not predict, and were unable to deny that he was God.

Just as God declared himself to be God by all the signs and wonders in the Exodus, all the signs [σημεῖα] and wonders [τέρατα] that Jesus accomplished also proved that Jesus, the Yahweh God [יהוה אלהים], was the Christ. Even if many prophesied in the name of the Lord, cast out demons in the name of the Lord, and did mighty works in the name of the Lord (Mt7:22), that is, even if God's authority and power were revealed through them as God made Moses like God to Pharaoh, the obvious reason they are abandoned is that they put themselves in God's place. Therefore, if you cannot deny yourself, you will ultimately be abandoned even if you are used. Maranatha!
